A lifelong resident of El Paso, Frank W. Gorman, Jr. attended Texas A&M until World War II interrupted his education, during which he served as a Navy Pilot. After the war, he attended New Mexico State University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and went on to work as a partner at his father’s company.
