In memoriam: Terry Robinson

Terrance “Terry” Dee Robinson of Placitas, NM passed away peacefully at home on February 11, 2023, at the age of 80 years.

Terry was born on August 18th, 1942, in Carlsbad, NM. Terry enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. He also enjoyed bowling, refereeing soccer, skiing, woodworking, fixing everything broken, reading, studying history, visiting national parks, and hot air ballooning.

Terry graduated from New Mexico State University and went on to an illustrious 36-year career in mechanical engineering working at Pantex in Amarillo, TX, and at Los Alamos National Laboratory, NM.

Terry is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Linda Robinson of Placitas, NM. He is also survived by Scott and Jennifer Robinson (son and daughter-in-law) of Arvada, CO; Keri and Mattie Robinson (daughter-in-law and granddaughter) of Albuquerque, NM; Bryan Robinson (grandson) of Albuquerque, NM; Ben Robinson (grandson) of Albuquerque, NM; Lloyd Edwin Robinson (brother) of Las Cruces, NM; Karen Robinson and Billy Baker (sister and brother-in-law) of Las Cruces, NM; and many cousins and extended family.

Terry is preceded in death by his son, Thomas “Tom” Robinson of Albuquerque, NM and his parents Margaret and Lloyd Robinson of Carlsbad, NM.

Terry’s celebration of life will be held Friday February 24th at 2:00 pm at Sagebrush Church Riverside Campus, North Student Building, 6440 Coors Blvd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87120.
