Attn: Registered and Prospective Attendees, Sponsors, and Vendors of the New Mexico Transportation and Construction Conference [NM TransCon]:

NM TransCon 2020, initially rescheduled from April to August 26-28, 2020 has been canceled. Attendee registrations, sponsorships, and vendor packages will be refunded.

In early June, the College of Engineering at New Mexico State University revisited the August preparations with the NM TransCon Steering Committee to include the New Mexico Department of Transportation and Las Cruces Convention Center administration. The remaining uncertainties associated with COVID-19, such as, potential capacity restrictions and limited food service for an August event, prompted the 2020 conference cancellation. If you made hotel reservations for the August dates, please reach out to your hotel.

Refunds for 2020 NM TransCon

  1. Attendees. If you purchased your conference registration by credit card, you will receive notice of refund the week of June 15. The notice will be sent to the email you used during registration. Please be sure to check your email’s “Spam” or “Junk” folder if you don’t see the notice in your Inbox. The actual transaction may take several days to appear on your credit card’s list of transactions. The vendor for the refund will show as “Eventbrite” on your credit card. We use Eventbrite for ticketing. If you paid by check and we haven’t yet deposited the check, the check will be returned to you by mail. Please allow 3-4 weeks for staff to get this done. If you paid by check and it was already deposited at NMSU, a staff member will contact you to provide paperwork for the refund process. Again, please allow us some time to contact you. State agencies and others who registered by purchase order will also be contacted individually.
  2. Sponsors and Vendors. If you purchased your sponsorship or vendor package by credit card, you will receive notice of refund the week of June 15. 2021 Conference Information

  1. Dates. NM TranCon 2021 is scheduled with the Las Cruces Convention Center for April 21-23.
