NMSU’s Military and Veterans Programs earns recognition for commitment to students

New Mexico State University is receiving recognition once again for its Military and Veterans Programs, which serves current and former service members and their families as they pursue their educational goals. 
 
NMSU is acknowledged as a Military Friendly school according to Victory Media and published in G.I. Jobs, and has earned the honor since 2010 with special recognition as a tier 2 research institution. 
 
NMSU has also been recognized as a Military Advanced Education & Transition Top School since 2016. 
 
According to Military Times, for the 2019 Best for Vets: four-year colleges, NMSU has been ranked for the third year in a row. 
 
“We are very proud to receive these designations as it demonstrates our continued commitment we make for our service members, veterans and dependents at New Mexico State University. Military and Veterans Programs is pleased to be recognized once again for our efforts to provide a supportive and understanding environment for our military-veteran connected students,” said Erika Zaragoza, Military and Veterans Programs Adviser.
