Klipsch School of Electrical and Computer Engineering

The Goddard Annex and the new engineering building (formally Thomas and Brown Hall)

The Klipsch School of Electrical and Computer Engineering is dedicated to providing quality educational opportunities to prepare students for successful careers in industry, government and academics. The Klipsch School is fully accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). The School is named in honor of the late Paul W. Klipsch, an NMSU alumni and one of America‘s most celebrated audio pioneers.

The Klipsch School was located in Thomas and Brown Hall, named in honor of the former Dean of Engineering Melvin A. Thomas (1947-1961) and Professor Harold A. Brown. The Department is now housed in the Goddard Annex  due to the demolition and construction of the new building.
