Manny Mora, Vice President, Space & Intelligence Systems, General Dynamics Mission Systems

Manny Mora is vice president and general manager of Space and Intelligence Systems for General Dynamics Mission Systems. Through his guidance and leadership, the organization delivers solutions to advance the gathering, dissemination and exploitation of intelligence for the United States and its allies. This unique portfolio of space- and ground-based systems and products are the technological foundations that support critical missions and programs, including deep space exploration and intelligence collection.

Additionally, Mora is also responsible for the delivery of strategic programs, with customers including NASA, the Department of Defense, the Intelligence Community, the Department of Defense and various international allied partners.

Over his three decades with General Dynamics, Mora has held increasingly responsible executive positions with the company. Previously, Mora was senior vice president for Strategic Business Development and Sales for General Dynamics C4 Systems, now General Dynamics Mission Systems. In that role, he successfully developed and implemented the company’s strategic plan for continuous business growth and global operations excellence. He also directed merger and acquisition strategies and business development resources to ensure the company remained a market leader in Command, Control, Communications, Computing and ISR (C4ISR) technologies, products and systems.

Serving as the vice president and general manager of Battlefield Management Systems for General Dynamics C4 Systems, Mora implemented critical enabling technologies and products for tactical networks used by the U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps and the United Kingdom Ministry of Defense.

Mora joined General Dynamics in 1984 and has 30 years of engineering and management experience in the U.S. defense electronics industry. He earned his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from New Mexico State University in 1984.
