Adelmo (Del) Edward Archuleta ‘73 BSCE, ‘76 MSCE
Adelmo Edward “Del” Archuleta, a native of Clayton, New Mexico, received his bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering in 1973, and his master's degree, also in Civil Engineering in 1976, both from New Mexico State University.
Following graduation, he joined Molzen-Corbin and Associates, a prominent New Mexico Engineering firm headquartered in Albuquerque. He quickly rose to the position of CEO, which he holds today.
In addition to his exemplary record in engineering, he also has an outstanding record of public service in the state of New Mexico. He currently serves on the board of directors of Public Service Company of New Mexico, the Bank of Albuquerque, the United Way of Central New Mexico, the New Mexico Business Roundtable, and Presbyterian Healthcare Services.
Del served two terms on the Board of Regents of New Mexico State University and was twice president of the board during his tenure. Some of his other previous affiliations include Past Chairman and Honorary Lifetime Member of the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce, President of the Board of Directors of Leadership New Mexico, Past President of the New Mexico State Board of Education, and Chairman of the 2003 Bond Advocacy Committee.
He has been named one of the community's “Top 100 Power Brokers” and one of “New Mexico's Most Influential People,” and was awarded the New Mexico Distinguished Public Service Award in 2003.
