A team of faculty led by Professor Stefan Zollner of New Mexico State University has received a grant of about $300,000 for the acquisition of a high-resolution, high-intensity X-ray diffractometer and reflectometer.
The Army Research Office has awarded Electrical and Computer Engineering Associate Professor Charles Creusere $326,034 for a project entitled “Distributed Source Coding Using Bitstream-Based Detection and Classification.”
Drs. Shuguang Deng, Martha Mitchel and Paul Andersen from the Chemical Engineering Department have received $202,000 in funding the Army Research Office for fuel cell research.
