Robotics competition sends seven teams to regional competition

More than 600 students from across New Mexico, El Paso and Cave Creek, Arizona, gathered this past weekend at NMSU for the 2014 NM BEST Robotics Competition. Seven top-scoring teams will advance to the regional competition to be hosted by the University of Dallas in Garland, Texas, on Nov. 14-15.

TRAX International donates $25,000 to NMSU College of Engineering

TRAX International, LLC gave $12,500 to New Mexico State University’s College of Engineering which will be distributed between scholarships, BEST Robotics and capstone engineering design projects.

Robotics competition aims to encourage students in engineering and science

The College of Engineering at New Mexico State University has encouraged thousands of students to pursue higher education in science, technology, engineering and math through the NM BEST Robotics Competition for 11 years. More than 600 students participated in this year’s competition on Oct. 20.
