Robert D. Sanders, a member of the Energy Technology and Engineering Business Association, presented NMSU College of Engineering Dean Ricardo B. Jacquez with a $1,000 donation for engineering scholarships. The gift was made on behalf of the New Mexico chapter of ETEBA. The scholarship will be used to support engineering students.
The ETEBA is a non-profit trade association representing more than 200 small, large and mid-sized companies that provide environmental, technology, energy, engineering, construction and related services to government and commercial clients. The group’s mission is to promote the success of our members by fostering market understanding, identifying business opportunities and advocating for our common interests.
The New Mexico Chapter of ETEBA Scholarship Program will provide six $1000 scholarships to the University of New Mexico Department of Nuclear Engineering; University of New Mexico Los Alamos Branch; New Mexico State University; New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, Central New Mexico Community College; and Northern New Mexico Community College.
ETEBA New Mexico has made a commitment to invest in the future workforce of their member companies. Funding is derived from a number of charitable activities including the annual ETEBA Earn and Learn Golf Tournament. The next tournament will be held May 10 at a location to be determined.
