Museum of Science and Industry names Arvizu 2010 National Hispanic Scientist of the Year

Marking the 10th anniversiry of its National Hispanic Scientist of the Year Award, the Museum of Science & Industry in Tampa, Fla. has chosen its 2010 honoree, Dr. Dan Arvizu, chief executive and director of the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden, Colo. Arvizu earned a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from New Mexico State University and a master’s and doctoral degrees in the field from Stanford University.
