On-farm water conservation, irrigation efficiency workshop set for Feb. 22

NMSU’s College of Engineering, in partnership with the Elephant Butte Irrigation District, will host a workshop Saturday, Feb. 22, for farmers, civil engineers and others interested in improving irrigation and on-farm water management practices.

Workshop cost is $40 if registered by Feb. 19 with an additional fee for professional development hours (10 PDHs), if requested. After that date, the cost of registration is $50 with an additional fee for PDHs. The workshop will include lunch and refreshments and take place on NMSU’s Las Cruces campus, Hernandez Hall, Room 103, 3035 S. Espina St.
