Engineering New Mexico Resource Network

The Engineering New Mexico Resource Network in the College of Engineering provides statewide engineering-based outreach and public service programs. Through collective impact, Engineering New Mexico leverages a network of industry, community, and academic partners to solve problems that improve the quality of life, promote economic development, and enhance educational systems across New Mexico. The program delivers a range of engineering programs and services to businesses, government agencies, teachers and K-16 students throughout the state.

Engineering New Mexico also leads outreach efforts within the College that focus on innovation and entrepreneurship in collaboration with the NMSU Arrowhead Center. Engineering New Mexico staff help guide responses to changes in a dynamic world through direct assistance, professional and continuing education, and initiatives that empower our partners to become leaders in engineering innovation. Through our various outreach programs, we not only work to deliver solutions, but open doors to new opportunities.

Outreach services include:

  • Professional Development

Engineering New Mexico also leads the college’s experiential outreach programs in the areas of innovation, entrepreneurship, and career development. Through the Aggie Innovation Space Presented by Intel and other corporate partners, Engineering New Mexico has partnered with NMSU Arrowhead Center to develop unique and engaging experiential opportunities that are driving student start-up businesses in southern NM.  Engineering New Mexico also serves as the NMSU lead for a National Science Foundation (NSF) funded program, Pathways to Innovation, led by Stanford University and VentureWell to integrate innovation and entrepreneurship into the engineering curriculum.  Engineering New Mexico is also the co-lead for a NSF INCLUDES grant focused on alignment and assessment of STEM outreach programs in New Mexico.
