Charley Johnson is the last quarterback to lead the New Mexico State University Aggies football team to an undefeated season–it went 11-0 in 1960, ranked 17th in the nation and won its second consecutive Sun Bowl. Johnson also played 15 years in the National Football League and was one of the first players inducted into the Denver Broncos Ring of Honor.
