El Paso Electric establishes endowed scholarships at UTEP and NMSU in memory of former board chairman

El Paso Electric announced the establishment of endowed scholarship programs in the colleges of engineering at the University of Texas at El Paso and New Mexico State University. Each university has received $250,000 to fund its scholarship program.
