In late 2011, the College of Engineering at New Mexico State University received a transformational gift from the estate of Roy R. Hilbrand, NMSU alumnus—he had received his bachelor’s degree in mathematics in 1964.
Two giants in the NMSU College of Engineering have passed on, but their legacies continue to have influence on the college. The work of Bill McCarthy and Joe Creed touches students, faculty and staff alike, even to those who never knew them.
