The Air Force, as well as other Department of Defense agencies, has identified the need to be able to rapidly reconfigure space payloads to support mission operations and to deliver those payloads to space, known as Rapid Response for Space. This project will assess capabilities and trends to permit a Rapid Response capability by identifying capabilities within New Mexico , the southwest region, and the nation as a whole to support payload development, launch methods, and payload operations for the Air Force Responsive Space effort.
