In Memoriam: John Zscheile, Jr.

John Zscheile, Jr., age 61, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2008 in Melbourne, FL. John was a retired electrical engineer having worked for L-3 Communications in Salt Lake City, Utah for 26 years before moving to Rockledge in 1997. John worked for Northrop Grumman in Melbourne from 1997 until his retirement in May 2007. He was well respected in the defense community and had in excess of 50 registered patents. John enjoyed nothing more than to be outside. From hiking and snow skiing in the mountains of Utah to sailing his boat and deep-sea fishing in the waters of Florida. John was a loving husband, father and grandfather and a loyal and true friend to many. John is survived by his wife, Ann; daughters, Deanna Missale and Denise Dixon; granddaughter, Paige Dixon; grandson, Joshua Hall; father, John W. Zscheile, Sr.; his sisters, Barbara Null, Ann Rubio and Wendy Carpenter, brother- in-law, Jimmy Carpenter and several nieces and nephews. John was welcomed into Heaven by his son, Brian Zscheile and his mother, Gertrude Zscheile who preceded him. A celebration of Johns life will be held at a later date. Donations in his memory can be made to the National Wildlife Federation. Beach Funeral Home East Chapel is entrusted with local arrangements.
