Engineering alumni joins Community Foundation board

LAS CRUCES – The Community Foundation of Southern New Mexico is pleased to welcome three new members to its board of directors. J. David Beasley, Craig Buchanan and Melissa M. Diaz begin their three year terms.

Díaz is a 20-year resident of New Mexico and works in an engineering management position at the NASA White Sands Complex in Las Cruces. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Sciences and Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from New Mexico State University and also serves as the NASA White Sands Complex Ethics Advisor.
