Credit By Examination
College credit may be awarded for certain superior scores on the College Level Examination Program (CLEP) or Advanced Placement examinations. A combined total of 30 credits may be accumulated for general education requirements.

Advanced Placement Credit
Students who have completed college-level courses in secondary schools and have taken the Advanced Placement Examinations of the College Examination Board with the resulting composite scores or 3, 4, or 5 may petition the academic dean of their college for credit and advanced placement. The amount of credit and the equivalent university courses for which credit will be granted will be determined by the head of the department in which the course is offered.
